SWJC Statement of Support for Israel After October 7, 2023

SWJC stands with Israel following the brutal murders of Israelis by Hamas terrorists and the kidnapping of innocent civilians. We strongly affirm Israel’s right to exist and its right to defend itself against Hamas or any other terrorist organization. Furthermore, we urge the end of all communication that escalates anger and hysteria. There can be no justification for hateful and inhumane criminal behavior.
People of all faiths and backgrounds have much to offer during times of crisis. As SWJC builds bridges within our community, we ask those who recognize the power of mutual respect and friendship to stand in solidarity with Israel.
