About: Southwest Jewish Congress in partnership with the SMU Human Rights Program and the Dallas Holocaust and Human Rights Museum presents Beyond Nuremberg: The Pursuit of Justice After the Holocaust.
Join distinguished human rights scholar Dr. Rick Halperin for a powerful exploration of justice in the aftermath of the Holocaust. This program goes beyond the landmark Nuremberg Trial to review the complex and evolving efforts to hold Nazi perpetrators accountable.
Dr. Halperin will examine the lesser-known but significant proceedings that followed across Europe, Israel, The U.S., and the Soviet Union. We will explore the legal, moral, and political dimensions of the trials, with a focus on both famous convictions and those who ultimately escaped justice.
