07 Apr Turning Back the Red/Green Alliance: Seizing the Reigns of Power
Date & Time: Tuesday, May 12, 2026 @ 12:00pm CST
Location: Virtual Meeting Held on Zoom
About: The Red/Green Alliance is a convergence of far-left progressive ideology and Islamist activism that has infiltrated curricula, school boards, and teacher training across the country. This coalition has shaped how American students are taught about history, identity, and geopolitics, often at the expense of balanced and factually grounded instruction. The webinar concludes with an action plan for parents, educators, and community leaders to reclaim local school governance, advocate for academic integrity, and restore a civics-centered education that resists ideological capture.
Speaker: Rebecca Schgallis is the Director of the K-12 Program at CAMERA. Rebecca was the Humanities Department Chair at Thomas Jefferson High School for Science and Technology in Virginia, teaching history, religion, and government. She holds master’s degrees in both education and history, specializing in American history and twentieth century German history with a focus on the Holocaust and antisemitism. Rebecca researches and writes on antisemitism in K-12 schools and advocates for policy reforms at the local, state, and federal levels of government.
