At our June 10, 2024 Annual Meeting we were pleased to offer a $2,000 grant to local nonprofits, thus enabling them to accomplish their goals.

at both the North and RedBird/South Dallas Vision Clinics
Grant Halliburton Foundation
“Charlas Con Cafecito” (Chats with a little coffee)
mental health support groups for Spanish speaking moms
Hispanic Women Network of Texas Dallas Chapter
mentoring and educational support resources for the
Latinas in Progress (LIP) Program helping Junior and Senior students prepare for and succeed in college and beyond
MEED Center (Multi Ethnic Education and Economic Development)
provide job ready skills to new immigrants and refugees with ESL classes, computer literacy and boot camps for small business entrepreneurs
Mosaic Family Services
provide emergency, safe housing for women and children who are escaping family violence or human trafficking, especially in working with limited English proficient refugee and immigrant survivors
Thanks-Giving Foundation
support the activities of the Thanks-Giving Square’s Interfaith Council, a multi-faith group of lay people that come together to learn about other religious teachings, traditions, practices and worship spaces
Unlocking Doors
cover a portion of the replacement of much needed and vital client copier/scanners. The organization provides personal copies for clients needing court record, citations, reports, work schedules, service referral information and other documents. The present copiers/scanners are 15 years old and are in dire need of replacement
Women Called Moses Coalition & Outreach
provide emergency shelter and assistance to survivors of
domestic violence and help them with a new beginning
